Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Measure-Ease app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Masson Technologies, LLC (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS.”
Information Collection and Use
The Application uses Apple and/or Google authentication to allow users to sign in securely. As part of this process, your email address (and any other basic profile data you consent to share) is provided by Apple or Google for authentication purposes only.
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This may include your email address and any data you save within the app. The Application does not gather any information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use your email address to:
Provide you with important service-related information and required notices;
Contact you with marketing promotions, newsletters, or updates about the Application, if you have consented to receive such communications.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at alex@massontech.com.
Data Storage
All user data (including profiles and measurement data) is securely stored in your private Apple CloudKit database.This means your data is saved only to your personal iCloud account and is not accessible by the developer or any third parties. The Service Provider has no access to, and cannot view or retrieve, your personal data stored in CloudKit. Only you, through your iCloud account, have access to this data.
In addition, your selected favorite profile is saved locally on your device using secure local storage (UserDefaults). This data is stored only on your device and is not synced or uploaded to any external server.
Third Party Access
The Application uses external services to improve functionality and manage subscriptions:
RevenueCat: The Application uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase data, such as receipts and subscription status, to verify and maintain your access to premium features. RevenueCat does not have access to your full personal data beyond what is required to manage purchase entitlements (such as your app user ID and subscription history). Only aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to other external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties as described in this privacy statement.
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process);
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, your safety, or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Subscription Cancellation
Please note that uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.Subscriptions are managed by Apple and are tied to your Apple ID. To avoid continued charges, you must cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
To manage or cancel your subscription:
Open the Settings app on your device.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Select Measure-Ease and choose Cancel Subscription.
It is your responsibility to manage and cancel your subscription if you no longer wish to use the premium features.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at alex@massontech.com and they will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The Application is not directed at children under 13, and parents/guardians are encouraged to monitor their children’s use of the app. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to the Service Provider, please contact them at alex@massontech.com to allow prompt deletion of such data.
Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider implements physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained by the Application. Your authentication data is handled securely via Apple’s or Google’s sign-in services, ensuring that credentials are never shared directly with the Service Provider.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2025-02-15.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the Measure-Ease app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Masson Technologies, LLC (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service.
By downloading or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using the Application.
Use of the Application
Unauthorized copying, modification, or reverse engineering of the Application (or any part of it) is strictly prohibited. You may not attempt to extract the source code of the Application, translate it into other languages, or create derivative versions. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
The Service Provider is committed to keeping the Application useful and up to date, but reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Application (or any part of it) at any time.
Subscriptions & Payments
The Application offers premium features through in-app subscriptions, managed via Apple’s App Store. Payments are processed through Apple, and subscription management (including cancellations) is handled via your Apple ID account settings.
The Service Provider uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and verify your access to premium features. While RevenueCat processes your subscription data (such as purchase status and entitlements), payments are solely handled by Apple.
Please note:
Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings to stop future billing.
You are responsible for any charges, including data usage fees incurred while using the Application.

User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your account credentials. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, as this may compromise security and cause the Application to malfunction.
Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application does not function fully due to lack of connectivity or data limits.
Limitation of Liability
While the Service Provider strives to ensure the Application is up to date and accurate, the Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss (direct or indirect) resulting from your use of the Application.
Updates & Termination
The Service Provider may release updates to the Application. You agree to install updates when offered to maintain functionality. The Service Provider may discontinue the Application at any time, and upon termination:
Your right to use the Application will cease;
You must stop using the Application and remove it from your device.
Changes to These Terms
The Service Provider may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2025-02-15.
